About Fiber Drums & Barrels
Fiber drums are wound from kraft board, fitted with a base and closed with a steel lid held by a lock ring, which lets the drum be opened, decanted and closed again during a production run. Liners are specified per order according to what is going inside. Drums are intended for bulk powders and granular material rather than for retail presentation.
Empty drums are supplied nested or stacked and palletised, with lids and lock rings packed alongside. They are more often ordered filled, as the pack our bulk starches, proteins, gums and acidulants ship in, and the same drum can be quoted either way. Diameters, heights, liner types and lid styles are set per enquiry; specifications and a Certificate of Analysis are confirmed per order.

Can drums be reclosed after opening?
The steel lid and lock ring is made to be removed and refitted, so a drum can be opened, decanted and closed again through a production run rather than emptied in one go.
Are liners included?
Liners are specified per order against the material going inside. Tell us the product and how it will be handled, and we quote the drum with or without one.
Can you send full specifications and a Certificate of Analysis?
Drum and liner specifications are confirmed per order. Give us the contents, the handling method at your end and the destination, and we will confirm which liner and which packaging documentation suit that use.
Can we buy drums empty, or only filled?
Both. Drums are supplied empty and palletised, or as the pack our bulk starches, proteins, gums and acidulants ship in on an ingredient order.
