About Dextrose & Sweeteners
Dextrose is a crystalline glucose sugar. The monohydrate grade carries water of crystallization and is the common choice for dry blending; the anhydrous grade is dried further and dissolves with a more pronounced cooling effect. Liquid glucose and invert sugar syrup are handled as viscous syrups rather than solids, and jaggery is a traditional unrefined sweetener carrying its own color and flavor.
Dry sweeteners are supplied as free-flowing powders and crystals in lined sacks; syrups are supplied in drums suited to viscous liquids. Because sweetness, solubility, browning behavior and mouthfeel differ across the range, enquiries are quoted against the specific sweetener and the system it will go into. Bulk supply and private-label packing are both available, as is sample material for trial batches.
Forms available
Dextrose Monohydrate
Crystalline grade for dry blends, fermentation and general sweetening.
Dextrose Anhydrous
Drier crystal with a sharper cooling effect as it dissolves.
Liquid Glucose (Corn Syrup)
Viscous syrup used for bulking and texture control.
Invert Sugar Syrup
Holds moisture and works against crystallization in sugar systems.
Jaggery (Gur)
Unrefined sweetener carrying its own color and flavor.
Demerara Sugar
Coarse-crystal sugar used where color and character are wanted.
Applications
Bakery & Confectionery
Bulking and sweetening in biscuits, boiled sweets, compound coatings and icings; syrups hold moisture and control crystallization.
Beverage
Sweetening and body in juices, energy drinks, sports powders and functional beverages.
Nutraceuticals
Carbohydrate base and sweetener in energy powders, effervescent blends and supplement tablets.
Pharmaceuticals
Sweetening in confectionery-style lozenges and syrup systems. Pharmacopoeial-grade requirements are confirmed at enquiry before an order is accepted.
Food Processing
Fermentation substrate and sweetener in cured meats, sauces, dressings and dry seasoning blends.
Frequently asked
What is the difference between dextrose monohydrate and anhydrous?
The monohydrate carries water of crystallization and is the usual pick for dry blending and fermentation work. The anhydrous grade is drier and gives a stronger cooling effect on dissolution, which matters in tablets, lozenges and mouthfeel-driven applications.
How are specifications and a Certificate of Analysis handled?
They are confirmed per order rather than published, because the range spans crystals, syrups and unrefined sweeteners. Name the sweetener and the application on enquiry, and specifications and a Certificate of Analysis are issued against that order.
Can you supply the syrup grades and the dry grades on the same order?
Yes. Dry sweeteners and syrups can ship together, though they are packed differently — sacks for crystalline material, drums for viscous syrup. Tell us the split you need and it will be quoted as one consignment.
Do you offer bulk supply and private label?
Both. Bulk supply for manufacturing use and private-label packing for buyers selling on under their own brand are available across the range, with packaging tailored to the market you are shipping into.
