Citric Acid
Citric acid in crystal form, supplied as the anhydrous and monohydrate grades. A standard acidulant, pH adjuster, flavor sharpener and chelating agent, bought in volume by beverage plants, food processors, confectioners, and personal care and supplement manufacturers as a working raw material rather than a specialty.

About Citric Acid
Citric acid is supplied as a white crystalline material. The monohydrate grade carries water of crystallization; the anhydrous grade does not, which matters where a dry blend has to stay dry. Both dissolve readily and both are hygroscopic in humid conditions, so sacks are best kept closed, off the floor, and away from heat and moisture in store.
It is supplied dry in lined sacks, with the granulation confirmed to suit the buyer's process — finer material for solution work, coarser crystal where dust and caking are a concern in dry blending. Bulk supply and private-label packing are both available. State the grade, the granulation and the application on enquiry, and the quotation and documentation follow against that.

Frequently asked
Should we order the anhydrous or the monohydrate grade?
Anhydrous is the usual choice for dry blends and effervescent work, where added water is a problem. Monohydrate is common in solution-based processes. Tell us the application and we will confirm which grade to quote.
Where can we get the specification sheet and Certificate of Analysis?
Specifications and a Certificate of Analysis are confirmed per order against the grade and granulation supplied, and are issued with the shipment documentation rather than published in advance.
How should citric acid be stored?
Keep it dry, closed and off the floor, away from heat and direct sunlight. It draws moisture in humid conditions, and moisture is what leads to caking in the sack.
Can you handle bulk volumes and own-brand packing?
Yes. Bulk supply for manufacturing use and private-label packing for repackers are both available, with pack format and labeling agreed at the enquiry stage.
