About Vitamins
Vitamins are sensitive actives. Several degrade on exposure to light, heat, oxygen or moisture, and some are oil-soluble while others are not, which changes how they are carried into a product. Material is therefore handled in protective packing, kept away from light and heat, and released against the batch record for the lot being shipped.
Powders are supplied in sealed, light-protected containers, drums or lined bags; softgels are supplied in bulk for onward packing, with finished consumer packs quoted only where the licensing position for your destination market has been confirmed first. Order quantities are usually smaller than for bulk commodities, so packing is sized to the way you dose. Storage guidance for each item goes out with the shipping documents.

What documentation comes with a vitamin order?
Specifications and a Certificate of Analysis are confirmed per order against the batch allocated to you, together with storage and handling guidance for the item. The technical documents are issued with the quotation and the batch certificate travels with the consignment.
Do you supply straight vitamins or blends?
Both routes are open. Individual vitamins suit buyers who blend in-house, while a combination can be made up to your formulation if you would rather dose one pre-weighed input. Tell us which you need and the format it goes into, and the quotation is built around that.
How do we allow for losses during processing?
Vitamins lose activity through heat, light and shelf storage, and the allowance depends on your process, your pack and the life you are declaring. Share those and we will supply the stability and handling information for the grade so your own technical team can set the overage.
How should vitamins be stored on arrival?
Cool, dry, dark and in the original sealed packing, opened only when you are ready to dose. Item-specific storage guidance is issued with the technical documents so your warehouse has it in writing rather than relying on general practice.
