HDG GI Earth Rod
An HDG (Hot Dip Galvanized) rod is a corrosion-resistant grounding electrode made from galvanized iron. The rod undergoes a hot-dip galvanization process, wherein it is immersed in molten zinc to form a protective zinc coating. GI Coating ranges from 86 to 100 microns (μm).
