About Green Cardamom
Pods are dried, cleaned and then graded, with size and colour both taken into account because buyers judge cardamom on how the pod looks as well as how it smells. Splits, empty pods and extraneous matter are separated during sorting. The aroma sits in the seed inside the pod, so pods are kept intact and are handled and stored to hold that aroma in.
Cardamom is supplied in bags and cartons suited to a high-value spice, with retail and private label packing available for brand owners. Grade, pod size and colour are agreed at the enquiry stage, as they drive both price and end use. Ground cardamom can be quoted where a buyer's formulation uses it rather than whole pods.

How is cardamom graded, and what will our order be?
Grading works on pod size and colour, since both drive appearance and price. We do not publish fixed grade values here; the grade for your order is agreed at enquiry, and specifications and a Certificate of Analysis are confirmed per order.
Does pod colour matter for our application?
It matters most where pods are visible in the finished pack. For grinding and extraction it matters less than aroma. Tell us the end use at enquiry so the right grade is quoted rather than the most expensive one.
Do you supply ground cardamom?
Yes, where a formulation uses powder rather than whole pods. Ground cardamom is milled against the order, since aroma is best held in the intact pod until it is needed.
Can cardamom be packed for retail or gifting?
Yes. Retail packs, custom labelling and private label formats are available alongside bulk packing, which suits cardamom given how often it is sold as a visible, branded product.
